Rizoplan – biological product, bactericide with systemic and contact action

Destination: plant protection against bacterial and fungal diseases.

Active substance: the active microorganism is the rhizosphere bacterium Pseudomonas fluorescens AP 33. Titre: minimum 5×10⁹ CFU/ml.

Producer: the product was developed in the Republic of Belarus by the Institute of Genetics and Cytology of the Academy of Sciences in 1993  . In 1997, it was approved for registration in the Republic of Moldova. After testing in the agricultural sector, the product was included in the State Register of Phytosanitary Protection Means of the Republic of Moldova under the name Rizoplan, agent Pseudomonas fluorescens, strain AP 33 (V-3481), with re-registrations carried out in 2005, 2011, and 2020 ( the latest state registration certificate no. 20-01-23-08-2-0666).

Preparation form: concentrated suspension, contains bacterial cells and biologically active substances produced by microorganisms during cultivation.

Solvent: water. The product is diluted with water according to the application recommendations.

Intended application: The product is recommended for use against a wide range of plant diseases, both in open fields and in protected areas: cereals (root rot, powdery mildew); potatoes (bacteriosis, phytophthora, rhizoctonia, alternaria); pome trees (powdery mildew, bacteriosis); grapevine (mildew, powdery mildew, gray mold rot); fruit plants; strawberries (gray rot); cabbage (blackleg, bacteriosis); cucumbers (root rot, ascochytosis, powdery mildew) and others.

Method of application:

1. Potato - reduces the diseases occurrence. Tubers treatment 7 days before planting. Consumption rate 1.0 l/t, working solution – 10 l/t.

2. Tobacco - Olpidium brassicae, Pseudomonas tabaci, O. nicotianae, Pythium debaryanum - tobacco wildfire, root and stem rot. Seedling treatment in the "ear" phase before planting, 20 ml/m2.

3. Cabbage - Olpidium brassicae, Pythium debaryanum, Rhizoctonia solani, Xanthomonas campestris, Erwinia carotovora - blackening and rotting of seedlings, bacteriosis. Seed treatment, 20 ml/kg.

4. Cabbage - Xanthomonas campestris, Erwinia carotovora - bacteriosis. Spraying during the growing season when the first symptoms of the disease appear, 0.3 l/ha. Next treatment - in 20 days.

5. Wheat, barley - Fusarium spp., Bipolaris spp., Helminthosporium sp., Ophiobolus graminis - root rot. Semi-dry seed treatment 1-2 days before sowing. Consumption rate 0.5 l/t, working solution - 10 l/t.

Under field conditions, treatment is recommended in the evening for to avoid exposure to sunlight and rapid drying of the preparation.
